Showing off a consistent color that’s much like Mahogany, this ribbon stripe Sapele comes with a much lower price.

The ribbon stripe figure comes from quarter sawing the log – the interlocked grain of Sapele produces the length wise stripes, or ribbons. (See this picture in our Project Gallery) An added benefit to quarter sawn lumber is the utmost stability.
